A gas line was damaged in a construction accident causing a road to be blocked to traffic Tuesday morning.
Emergency personnel say East 12th Street at Broad Street will remain blocked until 10:30 am as they work to shut off gas to the damaged gas line.
No one was injured and the occupants of two home were evacuated.
