Boots And Bandannas Fundraiser Taking Place Next Saturday

The Friends of Lake Barkley is gearing up for an inaugural fundraiser that will feature food and dancing next month at the Lake Barkley State Resort Park.

Group President Jim Mullen says there will be plenty of food served during the Boots and Bandannas event Saturday night, September 7.

Dinner will be served at 6:00, with music from the Dry Creek Band to start around 7:00 and last until 10:00.

Lead singer Steven Ezell adds they are a local band and will play lots of music to keep everyone dancing.

Mullen notes the Friends of Lake Barkley do a number of things for Lake Barkley State Resort Park and the Trigg County community.

Tickets are $30 per person or $50 a couple and are available at the park or by calling (270) 350-5566.
