A Los Angeles filmmaker who recently made a movie in parts of western Kentucky is working on another one in the region.
David Risotto, director of “The Silent Natural”, tells the News Edge he is working on a faith-based movie called “The Second Chance”.
He adds being around the little boy helps Mr. Johnson.
Risotto says the Commonwealth is a great place to make movies and he is excited about the new movie.
“The Silent Natural”, his first film made in Kentucky, shares the story of William Dummy Hoy who was the first deaf major league baseball player. The movie is being shown at Capitol Cinemas in Princeton through next Thursday.
