As work continues on another family histories book to celebrate Trigg County’s bicentennial, deadlines are fast approaching to turn in stories.
Trigg County Historical Society President Bob Brame says the deadline for family histories is approaching next week.
He notes this will be the third family history book they have made.
Brame adds there are several ways to submit histories, including email.
The 500 word or less stories and a picture can also be dropped off at the John L. Street Public Library or Cadiz Ace Hardware. They can also be mailed to P.O. Box 1008, Cadiz, Kentucky, 42211.
Brame says they are currently going around to local businesses to ask them to submit their histories, as well.
Deadline for the business and church histories is Monday, September 30.
Brame notes the books can be purchased for as low as $59.95 each and the deadline for ordering is Tuesday, October 15.
Additional information about the book can be found on the Trigg County Historical Society Facebook page or flyers that were mailed to every address in Trigg County in July.
