The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective through Tuesday night at 8:00 for Caldwell, Hopkins, Lyon, and Marshall counties in western Kentucky.
Paducah National Weather Service Meteorologists report a strong line of thunderstorms will make its way through the region this afternoon. They add strong winds up to 55 mph will occur with the strongest storms, with heavy rainfall and frequent lightning expected as well.
