Hopkinsville Community College (HCC) has been ranked among the “Best Community Colleges” for the second year in a row according to WalletHub.com.
HCC ranked 18th in this year’s report from the personal-finance website, an improvement over 2018’s ranking of 24th.
WalletHub reviewed 710 community colleges and ranked them on 19 key indicators of cost and quality. The data included the cost of in-state tuition and fees, the student-faculty ratio, and the graduation rate.
HCC was the only community college in Kentucky ranked in the top 20, with Madisonville Community College ranked 28th. Kentucky as a whole ranked 9th among the “States with the Best Community-College Systems”.
