A Hopkinsville man was charged with assaulting a woman over money Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 49-year-old Kathy Hale of Cerulean accused Robert Lafon of taking money from her before he assaulted her at a home on Walnut Street.
Lafon reportedly hit Hale in the face with his fist multiple times.
Hale was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for injuries to her face.
Lafon is charged with second-degree assault.
