Hopkinsville Police say the man wanted for the Sunday morning shooting that claimed the life of 25-year-old Terrill Moore of Hopkinsville is in custody.
Hopkinsville Police spokesman Mike Atkins says 18-year-old Robert Torian was arrested Sunday morning in Clarksville for the fatal shooting of Moore. Police were also able to locate the White Pontiac Trans-am he was driving.
Police say they had not received any reports of a shooting but found Moore in the passenger seat while they were patrolling the area.
An ambulance was called to the scene. Shortly after the ambulance crew arrived, the Christian County coroner was called.
Police then blocked off the area to collect evidence as family and friends of the victim began to arrive at the scene. Police were able to locate shell casings in the area.
Police are continuing to investigate the fatal shooting. No other details have been released concerning the incident.
