Cadiz Police Encourages Caution as Back-to-School Traffic Begins

Those commuting along Main Street in Cadiz should expect some delays for the next couple weeks as students return to the classroom.

Cadiz Police Chief Chad Grace told the News Edge traffic on Main Street is expected to be slightly delayed as they begin working out the kinks in the increased traffic flow.

He cautions motorists that the portable stoplight will be operating during the afternoons to allow a smoother flow of traffic.

Chief Grace says they are using multiple tactics to emphasize safety in the schools.

Cadiz Police Department encourages all drivers to be extra cautious during the back-to-school season.
