A Hopkinsville man was charged with fleeing from police after a report of a disturbance on South Fowler Avenue Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police Lt. Kyle Spurlin told the News Edge at the scene 40-year-old Charles Hollowell was armed with a gun and fled from them after a report he was arguing with neighbors.
Hollowell was apprehended by HPD K9 Bowy hiding behind some homes in the area. Hollowell was taken to the hospital for injuries from a K9 bite.
Hollowell is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and tampering with physical evidence.
