An investigation into a stolen vehicle from the Princeton Electric Plant Board has lead to the arrest of a Cadiz man.

Princeton Police Chief Chris King says that on August 22, 2018 officers were called to the Plant Board in reference to a vehicle being stolen from the parking lot. He adds that surveillance video lead to the identification of the suspect, 33-year-old Adam C. Schneider, but despite obtaining an arrest warrant at that time, officers were unable to locate him.

Chief King notes that Schneider was arrested in Fayetteville, North Carolina on unrelated Christian County warrants and extradited back to Kentucky by the Hopkinsville Police Department on Wednesday.

Once in Kentucky Schneider was served the Caldwell County warrant charging him with theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000 and was lodged in the Christian County Detention Center.
