Award-Winning Lineup Announced for Upcoming LIVE at the Alhambra Season

A well-known country music artist, a gospel music great and a legendary soul group will headline entertainment this year being put on by the Pennyroyal Arts Council.

Executive Director of the Pennyroyal Arts Council Margaret Prim announced Thursday night Wynona and The Big Noise will headline entertainment at Hoptown Hopfest.

Prim says she is very excited for the upcoming season. The historic Alhambra Theatre will host 12-time Grammy winner Cece Winans performing with the Virginia Street Baptist Choir on October 3rd, singer and actress Maureen McGovern on November 15th, classical-crossover sibling group Annie Moses Band for a Christmas show on December 15th, world’s best young Elvis impersonator Travis LeDoyt on February 14th, and Philadelphia soul group The Stylistics on April 18th.

In addition to the shows set for the LIVE at the Alhambra series, they also announced several other exciting shows in the works. They will have Shakespeare in Jazz coming for a free show on September 24th, up-and-coming Nashville artist Stephanie Quayle from CMT’s 2019 Women of Country class on September 26th, and finally, Wynonna & The Big Noise will take the stage on November 30th.

Prim encourages those interested to purchase season tickets to see all the shows coming up.
