A Hopkinsville man was found with drugs after police went to his home to investigate theft of identity Wednesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say 25-year-old Phillip Walker attempted to close the door of the Roney Drive home when officers tried to talk with him.

Police could reportedly see drugs in plain view in the home and were able to get a search warrant for the home.

Marijuana, bongs, and an unknown powder were allegedly located in the home.

He is charged with theft of identity, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana.
