A female pedestrian was hit and killed in the area of Tiny Town Road around Peachers Mill Road in Clarksville Wednesday night.
Clarksville police say the 47-year old female was attempting to cross Tiny Town Road in front of Hardee’s shortly after 8:45 when she struck by an eastbound pickup truck driven by a 32-year old woman. The pedestrian was transported from the scene and died from her injuries a short time later at the hospital.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed against the driver.
