Police have released more information about a robbery that led to a shooting on Boyd Street Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area just before 4 am for a male that had been shot and found 35-year-old Robert Armour of Clarksville with injuries to his ear.
Police say a 9mm shell casing was found in the area and after interviewing Armour he told police someone with a ski mask covering their face attempted to take his property then shot him.
Armour’s injuries are reportedly minor. He was later arrested on a warrant for being a fugitive from another state.
