Kirby Wallace Takes Plea Deal In Stewart County Murder

The man who was the center of a manhunt in neighboring counties in Tennessee in connection to killing two people last year has reportedly pled guilty in Stewart County to murder and multiple other offenses in exchange for a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

WTVF-Channel 5 in Nashville reports Kirby Wallace accepted a plea deal in Stewart County Wednesday, which could lead to a second plea deal on Friday in Montgomery County.

As previously reported by the News Edge, Wallace was wanted in connection to a murder and arson in Stewart County and a suspected murder and carjacking in the Woodlawn area of Montgomery County which led to a massive manhunt in September and October 2018. He was also wanted in connection to a home invasion in Montgomery County. Wallace was captured by the Henry County Sheriff’s Department near the Montgomery-Stewart County line on October 5, 2018, after a seven-day manhunt.

Wallace was charged with 20 felony counts, including two counts of murder.
