Traffic Violation Led To Multiple Drug Charges In Hopkinsville

A Hopkinsville man was stopped for a traffic violation and charged with trafficking and possession of drugs Tuesday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 33-year-old Jacoby Johnson after he failed to stop at a stop sign on East 7th Street.

After police searched the vehicle they found marijuana and a large amount of synthetic drugs.

He is charged with possession of marijuana, trafficking in synthetic drugs, and operating on a suspended license.
