More information has been released about a wreck on Lafayette Road that sent a woman to the hospital Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police Officer Tyler Hancock said 80-year-old Wanda Klingensmith of Hopkinsville was turning onto Lafayette Road from West 37th Street.
Klingensmith’s car pulled into the path of a southbound truck driven by 16-year-old Olivia Elkins of Hopkinsville.
Elkins was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for injuries from the crash.
