A Trigg County Sheriffs Deputy was flown to a Nashville hospital after he collapsed Friday night.
Trigg County Sheriff Jason Barnes said Jason Key had some kind of medical problem while responding to a call and pulled over and got out of his vehicle in the area of Ferrell’s Snappy Services.
He fell to the ground and hit his head on his vehicle as a second deputy pulled over to help him.
Key was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter at Trigg County Hospital.
He remains in stable condition at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Barnes said the full extent of the medical issue is unknown.
