The Kentucky Lottery announced earlier this week that the western region took home the biggest sales award for the 2019 fiscal year.
Senior Vice President of Communications Chip Polston announced the regional district won after facing many setbacks throughout the year.
The award was presented to district Sales Manager Chris Green of Cadiz and his staff members in attendance at the annual Kentucky Lottery Sales awards held in Louisville.
The Kentucky Lottery reported strong sales through the end of May 2019 at $1.035 billion, which was around $77.7 million ahead of sales through the previous fiscal year.
