Adams Visits With Veterans At Christian Care Communities

The Commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs spent Friday morning visiting with veterans at the Friendship House in Hopkinsville.

Retired Brigadier General Ben Adams tells the News Edge it’s important to visit them.

He adds that it is truly a privilege to meet each and every one of the veterans.

While talking with veterans, Brigadier General Adams presented each of them with a special pin and a coin to commemorate their service.

His visit to Hopkinsville also included attending the funeral for Korean War veteran PFC James Williams, who was killed in action on July 20, 1950, in South Korea.
