Princeton Man Arrested on Various Drug Related Charges Sunday

A Princeton man was arrested on various charges, including drug-related charges, following a traffic stop Sunday night in Hopkins County.

According to Kentucky State Police report, troopers with Post 2 in Madisonville received a call of a small maroon passenger car speeding and driving recklessly northbound on Interstate 69 in Hopkins County just before eight. The report indicates that a trooper made contact with a vehicle matching the description around the 105-mile marker on I-69.

Once the vehicle was stopped the trooper found the driver, 22-year-old Logan Ennis, to allegedly be under the influence of intoxicants. The report states that upon further investigation Ennis was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, including prescription pills and suspected methamphetamine.

Ennis was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, third offense, possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia buying or possessing, possession of a controlled substance third degree, drug unspecified, possession of a controlled substance second degree, drug unspecified, and prescription controlled substance not in proper container first offense, among other charges.

He was then lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
