Lane Restrictions For Work On Trigg Bridges Begins Wednesday

Motorists traveling in Trigg County need to be aware of some work zone lane restrictions beginning Wednesday for some bridge deck work and waterproofing on three bridges in the county.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials say the work zone lane restrictions will be along sections of KY 126/Buffalo-Cerulean Road, KY 164/Linton Road, and KY 778/Will Jackson Road.

The work on the KY 126/Buffalo-Cerulean Road will be over a tributary of Muddy Creek between Welcome Home Road and Knight Road.

On KY 164/Linton Road the deck restoration and waterproofing will be on the Donaldson Creek Bridge between KY 807/Donaldson Creek Road and Craig Branch Road.

The work on KY 778/Will Jackson Road will be conducted on the Muddy Fork Little River Bridge between Gentry Gray Road and Alexander Road.

Officials say the work zone lane restrictions are expected to be established at these locations Wednesday and remain up around the clock. The target completion date is August 16.

Motorists should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway near traffic flow.
