The Colonel Stephen Trigg Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution plan on starting Independence Day with a bang this year with the annual reading of the Declaration of Independence Thursday morning.
Geoff Baggett and Bob Sholly with the SAR spoke with the News Edge to share details of the reading.

They hope to recreate what a reading of the Declaration would have been like in 1776.

Baggett encourages the crowd to participate in the reading with the goal to take people back in time to 1776. He adds there will be a copy of the Declaration there for the crowd to sign.

The annual reading of the Declaration of Independence will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in West Cadiz Park.
