Trigg Judge Executive Praises Road Department For Storm Cleanup

Trigg County Judge Executive Hollis Alexander is thanking all county road department workers for their efforts in storm damage cleanup over the last two weeks. During Monday night’s Trigg Fiscal Court meeting, Alexander publicly expressed his gratitude.

An EF-1 tornado struck along the King’s Chapel Road June 21, packing winds over 100 MPH over a five mile path.

Alexander also reminded magistrates that the annual Farm Tour is coming up on Thursday, July 18.

Among action taken during the short meeting was approval of the final June financial report which included an almost $700,000 payment to Rogers Group for the paving of Old Cadiz Maggie, Maggie, and Delmont Church roads. The money will be paid back to the county as it is road discretionary funding from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
