A Clarksville man was arrested after fleeing from deputies in Crofton Wednesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies say they were called to the Dollar General in Crofton to assist a bounty hunter who was following a man wanted in Tennessee.
When deputies arrived they found 29-year-old Joshua Shandle and when they asked him to put his hands behind his back he fled on foot.
Shandle was located on Short Street.
After a search of his vehicle deputies reportedly found several individually wrapped Oxycodone pills, Ecstasy, and a gun loaded with hollow point bullets.
He is charged with trafficking a controlled substance within a thousand feet of a school, resisting arrest, first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
