Country Hitmaker To Headline Back To Back Show On July 27

A huge country hit-maker will perform during the 14th annual Back to Back Foundation show in late July.

Back to Back Founder Brice Long tells the News Edge Steve Wariner will take the stage at the James E. Bruce Convention Center on Saturday night, July 27.

Long says Wariner asked if he could play the show after hearing about it at a songwriters showcase in January.

Wariner has written songs for several country artists including Clint Black, Keith Urban, and Garth Brooks and has 14 number-one hits of his own.

Long notes Candian singer/songwriter Deric Ruttan, who was written hits for Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Blake Shelton, and Jason Aldean, as well as songwriter Phil O’Donnell who wrote George Strait’s 60th number one single “Give It All We Got Tonight” and songs for Craig Morgan will perform in the songwriters portion of the event.

The Back to Back Foundation’s main focus is to help families in Christian, Trigg, and Todd counties around Christmas time.

He adds they also help in other events throughout the year.

Tickets for the show go on sale Monday and can be purchased at various locations in Cadiz, Hopkinsville, and Elkton; including the WKDZ/WHVO Studios for $10. Tickets at the door will cost $15.

The show will begin at 7:00, with doors to open at 6:30. The James E. Bruce Convention Center is located at 303 Conference Center Drive in Hopkinsville.
