A Millbrooke Drive home was damaged when a fire started in a dryer Tuesday night.Hopkinsville Fire Department Captain Michael Pendleton said the fire was contained to the dryer but caused heavy smoke damage to the rest of the home.
The family will not be able to stay in the home due to the smoke damage and the American Red Cross was contacted to help the family.
The home was located at 202 Millbrooke Drive.
