A Hopkinsville attorney is now a published author and his first book, a legal thriller, was released this week.
Jason Holland tells the News Edge the novel, ‘Honor Thy Father: A Legal Thriller’, is about a veteran attorney who finds out he has Alzheimer’s.

He says the book came about after his father, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, passed away in 1998.
Holland notes he put the book away but about a year ago a friend of a friend heard about the novel and gave it to another friend who was a retired editor.

When asked how it feels to be a published author, Holland says it is a bit surreal.

Holland notes he is writing a second book, ‘Honor Thy Mother’ that will revolve around the main character in the novel released this week.
‘Honor Thy Father: A Legal Thriller’ was released Monday. Holland says a physical copy can be found on Amazon and eventually they will have it on Barnes and Noble. He notes there are also digital copies available.
