A Cadiz man was charged with possession of drugs after a report of a suspicious person Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to Dell Drive for a suspicious person and found 27-year-old Nicolas Jenkins in a vehicle.
Jenkins reportedly tried to hide a container with pills inside and was found to have a straw in his pocket.
He is charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
