Current Logan County Attorney Joe Ross announced Tuesday his intent to run for Circuit Judge in Logan and Todd County during the November General Election.
He was elected to the position in 2010 and serves as the legal advisor for Logan County Fiscal Court and offers advice to elected county officials. He adds he will run for the position currently held by Judge Tyler Gill who is retiring on July 31. Ross along with Assistant Logan County Attorney Elizabeth Teel operate the firm Ross and Teel in Russellville.
He resides in Russellville with his wife Amy and is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky College of Law.
Ross thanks Judge Gill for his service to both Logan and Todd counties over the last 26 years and promises to be fair and just, if elected to the position.
