A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon after a disturbance call on Russellville Road Saturday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies say 25-year-old Jimmy Wells Jr. pulled a handgun on his father during an argument over a car.
Wells told deputies he needed the gun for protection.
