Numerous seniors with the Christian County Public School’s district have been selected to attend the Kentucky Boys State.
According to the school district, twenty-one students were selected to take part in the program that will take place next week at Campbellsville University. The program is entering into its eighty-fourth year and trains youth across the state in the fundamentals of good citizenship and governmental operations. Participants put into intensive practice the theories of American government through the actual operation of city, county and state offices, with students benefiting from the network of peers.
Representing the Hopkinsville High School Class of 2020 are Denarius Barnes, Maxwell Bauserman, Javier Bland, Xavier Bussell, Jaxon Davis, Joshua Deeds, Tyler Greenwell, Tayshawn Head, Latham Joiner, Conner Lackey, Dustyn Miltenberger, Keane Mumford, Joseph Nguyen, William Mason Rye, Chase Shannon, and Donquavion Victor.
Christian County High School seniors selected are Justin Adams, Ajani Cooke, Ian Gentry, Landon Haile, and John Schmitt.
