Trial Of MCHS Shooting Suspect Moved To Christian County

The trial of the teen accused in the fatal Marshall County High School shooting in January 2018 will reportedly be moved to Christian County.

According to WPSD-TV in Paducah, a judge along with defense attorneys for Gabriel Parker and Commonwealth’s Attorney Dennis Foust agreed to move the June 1, 2020 trial after a change of venue motion was filed by the teen’s lawyers.

As the News Edge previously reported, Parker is facing two counts of murder and 14 counts of first-degree assault in connection to the January 23, 2018 shooting at the high school that claimed the lives of 15-year old Bailey Holt and 15-year old Preston Cope and injured several others.
