Police have released more information about a wreck on Interstate 24 that sent a tractor-trailer driver to the hospital Tuesday night.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Hunter Carroll said 53-year-old Calvin Milford of Georgia was westbound about a mile east of the Newstead-Gracey exit when he hit tires in the roadway causing the truck run off the road and into the median.
The truck hit multiple cable barriers before overturning. Milford was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
