The Trigg County Senior Citizen’s Center celebrated mothers Friday afternoon.
Center Director Cissy Lawrence says moms are important.
During the celebration, women were given prizes for having the most children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren.
She adds they are celebrating a lot of things this month.

The center is located at 127 Joy Drive behind Food Giant in Cadiz.

Oldest Mother – Lavinia Marlowe – Age 91
Most Children – Eunice Fletcher – 8 and she is proud of all of them
Child Who Lives Farthest Away – Barbara Choate – California
Most Grandchildren – Debbie Holder – 19 Grandchildren
Youngest Great-Grandchild – Janet Abels
Most Great-Great-Grandchildren – Lois Hargrove – 2
