Man Charged With Bringing Meth Into Christian County Jail


A man was charged after he reportedly took meth into the jail Thursday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 35-year-old Derrick Maples of Hopkinsville was arrested on a probation violation warrant and was found to have meth in his socks at the jail.

Maples is charged with first-degree possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and first-degree promoting contraband.
