Caution Urged As US 68 Trigg Four-lane Project Progesses

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is encouraging drivers to use caution when traveling between Cadiz and Canton on US 68 in Trigg County.

District One and Two Public Information Officer Keith Todd says the traffic shift to the new section of US 68 just west of Cadiz is the first of many changes that will take place during the next several months.

Todd says drivers need to use caution and be alert for changes along that section of highway.

He adds the new four-lane road will be completed by next Spring at the latest.

Todd says good weather could speed the project up even more.

He notes traffic will also return to normal on the Eggners Ferry Bridge Tuesday. Todd says the work crews plan to return to complete their work on Eggners Ferry Bridge in June.
