Princeton Woman Hurt In Head-On Collision

A Princeton woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning.

Princeton Police Chief Chris King says that officers responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Varmint Trace Road and Maple Avenue just after 7:20. He adds that investigation revealed 59-year-old Don Gray was attempting to make a left-hand turn at the intersection and did not see a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Lori Travis, causing Travis’ vehicle to hit Gray’s vehicle head-on.

Princeton Fire Chief Brent Francis says that crews did have to extricate Travis from the vehicle. She was then transported to Caldwell Medical Center for minor injuries.

The Princeton Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Princeton Fire Department.
