Community members got a first-hand look at the new Christian County Sheriff’s Office during an open house Friday.
Sheriff Tyler DeArmond tells the News Edge his staff is excited to be in the building beginning Monday.
He adds he’s glad to have an awning to conduct vehicle inspections more easily.
Among the abundant space for officers, there are three holding cells, three interrogation rooms, and a 68-person training room inside the newly constructed Public Safety Building.
The sheriff’s office will keep their 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM hours, every weekday. The new facility is located at 701 West 7th Street in Hopkinsville.
