Trigg County School officials have taken action to eliminate bed bugs that were found in two classrooms this week.
Superintendent Travis Hamby tells the News Edge a classroom at the high school and a classroom at the Trigg Primary School were treated by a pest control professional after a bed bug was found in each room.
Director of Student Services and Personnel James Mangels sent out a one-call message to parents and guardians Friday afternoon about bed bugs being found in the classrooms. He says they will continue to work with pest control professionals and monitor the situation.
