Police have released the name of a woman who was trapped in her car after a wreck on Glass Avenue Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police Officer Justin Rios said 53-year-old Katherine Williams of Hopkinsville was westbound on Glass Avenue when her car ran off the road and hit a culvert just after 9 a.m.
Williams was extricated from the vehicle and taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center to be flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
The extent of her injuries is unknown.
