A Dawson Springs woman was injured in a one-vehicle rollover Thursday afternoon.
Caldwell County Sheriff Stan Hudson says that he responded to a one-vehicle accident on Highway 62 East/Dawson Road near the 16.5 mile just after one. He adds that the driver, 21-year-old Myra Davis-Lyles, stated that she was westbound when she allegedly swerved to miss an oncoming vehicle. The car then struck a guardrail, crossed both lanes of traffic, and then hit an embankment and overturned before coming to a final rest on its top.
Davis-Lyles was transported to the Caldwell Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Sheriff Hudson was assisted at the scene by Caldwell County EMS and the Princeton Fire Department.
