BLUE SKIES RETURN

The rain is pretty much over but we still have to contend with the clouds. At least it is not cold. The sun returns on Tuesday and Wednesday…maybe even the first half of Thursday. It will stay warm with highs in the mid to upper 70’s. The next chance for showers and thunderstorms will come on late Thursday afternoon and evening. Storms are expected to form along a cold front as it approaches the region on Thursday afternoon. Strong winds will proceed the cold front, and we could see wind gusts up into the 35 to 40 mph range Thursday afternoon.

While the instability appears to be weak, strong wind shear will result in the possibility of strong storms Thursday afternoon and evening along the cold front with a damaging wind threat the main danger. Thunderstorms will end from west to east Thursday night once the cold front moves through. By Friday, skies become partly sunny but temperatures will drop off and highs will stay mostly in the upper 50s to lower 60s by Saturday and lows in the upper 30’s to low 40’s. There doesn’t appear to be any frost threat within the foreseeable future. Another storm system will bring more rain back into the area by Saturday evening and continuing into Sunday. This one could bring as much as an inch of rainfall to the region.

A Thought; When on Facebook, sharing words with someone you have never met is like observing a shadow, without seeing the whole person; the place where my shadow touches theirs, is the place where our words meet, and it is in that place where new friendships can take place. Sometimes, I write to find strength. I write to become the person that hides inside me. I write to light the way through the darkness for others. I write because my heart speaks a different language that someone needs to hear. I write for the haters, the lovers, the lonely, the brokenhearted and the dreamers. I write because one day someone will tell me that my emotions were not a waste of time. I write because God loves stories. I write because one day I will be gone, but hopefully, what I believed and felt will live on.
