A Christian County Public School teacher is celebrating after becoming a board certified teacher.
The school district reports Amanda Cornell, a language arts teacher at Indian Hills Elementary, recently became a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT). She was recognized as a gold standard in teacher certification, with less than 3% of teachers achieving the certification. The NBCT believes is high standards for teachers and that means better learning for students.
