A Hopkinsville man was charged with receiving stolen property after he was found with the keys to a stolen vehicle Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 45-year-old Jason Peace was arrested after he was found with the keys to a vehicle that was just returned to Heather Scoggins who reported it stolen Saturday.
The registration plate was also replaced with an incorrect plate.
He is charged with receiving stolen property and theft of a motor vehicle registration plate. He is lodged at the Christian County Jail.
