Members of the Christian County Extension District Board reviewed proposed drawings of the new Christian County Agriculture Exposition Center Thursday afternoon.
Extension Manager Jay Stone says they hired Suiter Surveying and Land Planning from Clarksville, Tennessee to do the architectural drawings for the new building.

He notes they do not need to approve these drawings as they were sent to get an idea of where everything could be located.
In other business, the board had previously been doing research to see if they needed Professional Liability insurance.
The Extension District Board is covered under the Christian County Fiscal Court’s Errors and Omissions insurance, but the Extension Agricultural Foundation which has the same members on it is not. Stone adds he would like to get quotes on the additional insurance and on other policies they pay for within the Ag Extension Services building.

Stone was granted permission by the board to talk with multiple insurance companies to get the best quotes and will present them at a future meeting.
