Hopkinsville Man Charged With Cruelty To Animals

A Hopkinsville man is charged with second-degree cruelty to animals after a dog was reportedly found severely emaciated on December 24th.

Hopkinsville police say 30-year-old Rowbaire Whitted allegedly moved out of a home and left a pit bull mix at the home severely emaciated with sores on his body. No food or water was found in the area of the dog.

Whittier was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He is lodged at the Christian County Jail.
