Woman Charged With Fleeing From Police And DUI In Christian County

A North Carolina woman was charged with fleeing from police and DUI after a traffic stop for speeding over 100 mph Saturday morning.

Christian County Deputies say they attempted to stop 22-year-old Diamond Anderson for going 103mph on Pennyrile Parkway and she exited onto Lovers Lane then got back onto the Parkway.

She stopped after hitting a curb causing her vehicle to have three flat tires. Deputies could reportedly smell alcohol on her and her eyes were bloodshot.

She was charged with speeding, reckless driving, first-degree fleeing or evading police, DUI, disregarding a stop sign and failure of owner to maintain required insurance.
