Fairview Couple Charged With Trafficking Drugs

A Fairview couple was charged with trafficking drugs and possession of counterfeit money Saturday afternoon.

According to a Christian County Sheriff’s Office Report, deputies could smell marijuana in the area and tracked down the smell to a home on Pembroke Fairview Road when deputies approach the home the door was quickly shut.

Deputies were able to get 25-year-old Marshanita Miller to come outside and she told deputies no one else was in the home.

After a search of the home 22-year-old Patrick Hunter was found inside along with an AK-47, AR-15, Marijuana, 16 grams of cocaine, 13 ounces of synthetic drugs, ammunition, scales and four counterfeit $100 bills.

During the arrest Hunter attempted to give the neighbor a pack of cigarettes that was found to have cocaine and oxycodone inside.

Both are charged with first-degree criminal possession of forged instrument, receiving stolen property (firearm), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, first-degree trafficking a controlled substance (cocaine) and trafficking in synthetic drugs.

Hunter was also charged with tampering with physical evidence, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and possession of a firearm by convicted.
